A statement by the Minister of the Interior regarding the return of displaced Syrians.. Here is what he announced

The Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Bassam Mawlawi, confirmed that “the European gift has not yet been completely resolved,” adding, “You will soon hear of a voluntary return convoy of Syrians to their country that we are working on.”

In a speech from Bkerke, Mawlawi said: “We will defend Lebanon and apply the necessary measures. The circulars were implemented in varying proportions among the municipalities, and we will not accept the presence of illegal Syrians.”
