A bike theft gang was arrested in a secure location

The security forces announced that “as part of the continuous follow-up carried out by the Internal Security Forces to combat the theft of motorbikes from various Lebanese regions, the Information Division was able to monitor a gang active in the villages and towns of the Western Bekaa, and its members use a white Toyota Camry.”

She continued in a statement: “As a result of this, and as a result of extensive surveys and investigations, the Division was able to determine the identities of the gang members, who are:

a. a. (Born in 1990, Palestinian)
It was found that they had a history of theft crimes and forming a robbery gang.

After careful monitoring, one of the division’s patrols in the town of Dahr al-Ahmar – Rashaya, spotted them on board the aforementioned car, and worked to arrest them in a tight ambush, despite their attempt to flee the patrol, and a knife was found in their possession.

Upon interrogation, they confessed to what was attributed to them, in that they had carried out many thefts of motorcycles from the villages and towns of the Western Bekaa, including the towns of: Khirbet Rouha, Al-Rafid, Ain Atta and others, and that they were selling stolen bicycles in Baalbek.

The legal requirements were carried out against them, and they deposited the seized items with the relevant authority, in accordance with the instructions of the competent judiciary.
