After Washington’s decision… fateful meetings in Israel this evening
An Israeli official told the newspaper “Israel Hayom” that “fateful meetings” of the war government and the mini-security ministerial council will be held this evening.
He added that the course of the ongoing fighting in Gaza and Lebanon will be determined during the meetings, following the White House’s decision to stop some arms shipments, and the threat to stop more.
The same official stated that “Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told US President Joe Biden, during a phone call between them, on Sunday, that Israel will fight fiercely if it has to.”
The United States suspended sending a shipment of weapons to Israel, including heavy bombs that it uses in its military campaign on the Gaza Strip, which has killed more than 34,000 Palestinians so far. (Sky News Arabia)
