A 6.1 magnitude earthquake in Taiwan

A 6.1-magnitude earthquake struck Hualien County in eastern Taiwan, while there were no immediate reports of damage.

Taiwan has been hit by more than a thousand aftershocks since a 7.2-magnitude earthquake struck the city of Hualien earlier this month. This earthquake claimed the lives of 17 people.
