“Hospital owners”: to impose penalties on the aggressors

The Syndicate of Hospital Owners in Lebanon condemned, in a statement, “the attack that occurred inside Dar Al-Shifa Hospital in the Abi Samra area of ​​Tripoli, by the relatives of one of the deceased, as a result of a severe heart attack, where the medical and nursing staff were beaten, in addition to the emergency room being destroyed.” “.

The union wished “a speedy recovery for the injured working inside the hospital,” stressing that “its recurrence in more than one hospital and region is linked to the leniency of the officials concerned and the failure to take the necessary legal measures to deter the perpetrators.”

It called on the competent authorities to “intervene and provide protection for workers inside hospitals and to impose strict penalties on the aggressors, allowing the hospital to continue its services and maintain the safety of patients.”
