We cling to hope that will restore happiness to our hearts

Representative Simon Abi Ramia wrote through his account on the “X” platform: “Sad and depressing news surrounds us in our daily lives. Wars are knocking on our doors from the south, and economic, social and financial catastrophes almost make us lose confidence in our future. Displacement is eating away at our land and identity and wreaking havoc on our towns. Political sterility threatens our entity and our republic.”

He added: “Despite this climate that threatens our fate, we cling to hope that will restore happiness to our hearts and stability to our homeland. Happy Eid Al-Fitr to Muslims and to all Lebanese… with the hope of a happy homeland.”
