Postponing Trump’s trial in the case of his keeping secret documents
The judge examining former US President Donald Trump’s retention of secret documents has indefinitely postponed his trial in this case.
The trial was scheduled to begin on May 20 in Florida, but the judge said that this was not possible due to the number of preliminary motions submitted to the court.
With this decision, it becomes unlikely that this issue will be considered before the presidential elections scheduled in less than six months, in which Trump will run as a candidate for the Republican Party.
