Civil Defense recovers 11 martyrs as a result of the Israeli aggression
Within the framework of the ongoing efforts made by the search and rescue teams in the General Directorate of Civil Defense, and under the directives of the Acting Director General of Civil Defense, Brigadier General Nabil Farah, and in full coordination with the Lebanese Army, the teams were able, on Monday, January 13, 2025, to recover the remains of ten martyrs from the town of Tair Harfa, in addition to the remains of a martyr from the town of Shama, as part of the ongoing operations to search for missing persons as a result of the recent Israeli aggression against Lebanon.
The remains were transferred to Jabal Amel Hospital to conduct the necessary laboratory tests, including DNA tests, to determine the identities of the martyrs.
The General Directorate of Civil Defense stressed in its statement that it will continue to carry out search operations in coordination with the army according to the established plan, until the survey operations are completed and all missing persons are found.
