The solution is ours, not in Washington or Europe

The distinguished Jaafari Mufti, Sheikh Ahmed Qabalan, believed that “to resolve the country’s sensitive issues, we need national leaders, not proxy leaders,” and he said in a statement: “The country is in a very exceptional situation, and the solution is ours, not in Washington or Europe, and we are the ones who should do that, not the team of delegates.” We only trust national interests. What is required is internal solidarity and a presidential settlement without external poison. Any foreign aid is nothing more than sovereign hunting. The solution is to cool the hot heads and look through the eyes of the Lebanese interest, not the eyes of Washington and its agents who are exchanging roles with Tel Aviv. To resolve the country’s sensitive issues, we need national leaders. There are no proxy leaders, and the Israeli-Atlantic war is the most dangerous national war ever, and only the valor of the resistance, its sacrifices, and its sovereign capabilities saved us from its effects.”

He continued: “What is happening on the southern front has unprecedented sovereign costs, and what the people of the south lend to Lebanon is greater than Lebanon, and whoever does not see the country through the eyes of the south and its sovereign sacrifices is a traitor to the greatest national sacrifices since the establishment of Lebanon, and patriotism begins with the sovereignty of the country, not from playing the role of a mercenary, nor from playing the role of a mercenary. Something more harmful to Lebanon than the political and media mouthpieces that say in Arabic what Tel Aviv wants in Hebrew, and the sectarianism implanted in the veins of some is the worst danger to Lebanon, and Lebanon cannot be torn apart when it has sovereign powers and capabilities that have taken it upon themselves to protect the national partnership and cut off the hand of whoever harms it, and the noise of some is not “More than a rattle, and Lebanon is strong with its resistance, its people, and its national project, and dealing lightly with what is happening in the region is absolute madness.”
