Al-Abyad and the Spanish Foreign Minister on an inspection tour of Baabda Governmental Hospital

Minister of Public Health, Dr. Firas Al-Abyad, accompanied by Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albarez Bueno, toured Baabda Governmental Hospital. The Spanish Ambassador to Lebanon, Jesus Santos Aguado, and the Hospital Director, Professor Farid Sabbagh, participated in the tour.

During the tour, Minister Al-Abyad expressed his thanks to Spain for the support it provided to the health sector in Lebanon, especially during the difficult circumstances that the country has gone through in the recent period. He praised the positive role played by Spain, along with the European Union, in continuously supporting the Lebanese health system.

For his part, the Spanish Foreign Minister affirmed his country’s commitment to continuing to provide support to Lebanon, especially to the health sector to develop it and improve the medical services provided to citizens.
