How much was the volume of foreign and Arab investments in Iraq in two years?

The volume of Arab and foreign investments in Iraq within two years reached 63 billion dollars after carrying out real reforms in the country and establishing real facilities and support measures for the private sector, according to statements by Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani.

Al-Sudani said while receiving representatives of 24 major British companies in various sectors and activities and a number of businessmen on the sidelines of his official visit to London: “We have implemented reforms in the tax and customs reality, company registration, and all approvals for investment opportunities. We have provided, for the first time, sovereign guarantees to the private sector to implement projects, and today we signed “With UKEF regarding this step.”

He added, “The investment environment and business space have become open and attractive to various types of investment and development activities, and that the meetings and agreements that were signed with the British side need to be translated into actions and steps, and that the most important part now lies with the companies.” (Sky News)
