I have not and will not announce my candidacy for prime minister
Representative Waddah Al-Sadiq wrote on the “X” platform: “I have not and will not announce my candidacy. I am realistic, I appreciate the circumstances, and I know exactly my limits, when I am ready for this difficult task, and when the opportunity is good if I am prepared in the future.”
He added: “But when I decide to run, no one announces my candidacy or decides on my behalf, except my family, my party, my family in Beirut, and those who put their trust in me and my comrades in the October 17 struggle. Anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional and lives in an imaginary world. Our battle is tough, and the unity of the opposition and allied representatives is necessary to maintain the atmosphere of optimism and hope for change among the people. Any breach of this alliance will provide a gift to the other party.”
