Special status for the 2025 Club World Cup badge

Footy Headlines confirmed that the winner of the Club World Cup in 2025 in its new form will wear the FIFA Golden Badge for four consecutive seasons.

Despite winning the 2024 Intercontinental Cup, Real Madrid did not receive a special golden badge. Instead, Manchester City will continue to wear the badge from the 2023 Club World Cup, where it will be used until the start of the next edition of the tournament.
