The UAE confirms its support for the stability of Syria

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Emirates, today, Monday, while receiving his Syrian counterpart, Asaad Al Shaibani, in Abu Dhabi, affirmed the UAE’s firm position in supporting Syria’s independence and sovereignty over its entire territory.

During his meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Syrian Transitional Government and the accompanying delegation, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed that his country stands by the brotherly Syrian people and supports all regional and international efforts that lead to achieving their aspirations for security, peace, stability and a decent life, according to the Emirati News Agency (WAM). ).

The UAE Foreign Minister pointed out the importance of providing all factors of security and stability to the brotherly Syrian people, for a future of prosperity, progress and development.

During the meeting, ways of strengthening the strong fraternal relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples were also discussed.
