A new arrest attempt against the President of South Korea
South Korea’s anti-corruption agency on Monday asked the country’s police to take over efforts to arrest ousted President Yoon Seok-yul.
The Office for the Investigation of Corruption of Senior Officials made this request in an official letter as the deadline for the validity of the arrest warrant approaches today.
A police official said in a phone call with the Korean Yonhap News Agency: “We are conducting a legal review internally.”
