An accomplice in sexual crimes.. Musk demands the prosecution of the British Prime Minister

American billionaire Elon Musk, in a tweet on the “X” platform, called on British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to resign and appear before court, directing a serious accusation against him of involvement in “sexual crimes committed against minors in northern England over decades.” Musk confirmed that Starmer was “complicit in the rape of minors in Britain” while heading the Crown Prosecution Service from 2008 to 2013.

Musk pointed out in his tweets that investigations into sexual crimes in Britain, which targeted underage girls from poor families in several cities such as Oldham, Rotherham, and Telford, revealed that the victims were subjected to sexual exploitation and rape by individuals of Pakistani origin, crimes that were covered up for many years until It was highlighted in 2012.

This statement comes at a sensitive time, as the case has sparked great controversy in Britain, especially with Starmer’s previous statements about avoiding trying individuals from ethnic and religious minorities, to avoid making accusations of racism or Islamophobia.

For his part, British Health Minister Wes Streeting responded to Musk’s statements, saying that some of the criticism directed by the American billionaire was “based on misleading information,” indicating the government’s readiness to cooperate with Musk if he was willing to participate in addressing these issues.

Oldham City Council had called on the Home Office in July 2024 to open a national investigation into these crimes, a request that was rejected by the Deputy Home Secretary, Jess Phillips, who defended local investigations as more objective. This refusal by the British government is believed to be related to an attempt to avoid angering Muslim voters.

Opposition parties, including the Conservatives and Reform UK, joined the criticism against Starmer and Labour, with Nigel Farage suggesting that successive governments, including the Conservatives, had also failed to deliver justice for victims of these crimes.

Media reports confirmed that investigations by media networks such as the BBC showed that about 1,400 children in the city of Rotherham were sexually assaulted between 1997 and 2013, while in the city of Telford, about 1,000 girls were assaulted over a period of 40 years. (Russia Today)
