Press holiday on the occasion of Labor Day and Easter


The Press Syndicate issued the following statement:

“For the occasion of Labor Day, newspapers will stop working on Wednesday, the first of May 2024. They will also stop working on May 3, 2024, on the occasion of Good Friday in the Christian sects that follow the Eastern calendar, and newspapers will also be closed on Sunday and Monday, the 5th and 6th of that month, on the occasion of the glorious Easter. Among the Orthodox denominations and the memory of the martyrs of the press, in accordance with the decision of the Councils of the Press and Editors Syndicates and the Federations of Printing Workers’ Unions, Publications Distribution Companies and the Graphic Designers Syndicate in Lebanon.”
