Financial assistance of 25 thousand euros for the Red Cross.. Who provided it?
The Lebanese Embassy in Senegal announced in a statement, “The Lebanese community in Senegal provided, in coordination with the Lebanese Embassy in Dakar, a financial donation of 25,000 euros for the benefit of the Lebanese Red Cross.”
The Lebanese Ambassador to Senegal, Sami Haddad, thanked “the community for its continued support of its mother country and the Lebanese people,” noting “the efforts and sacrifices of the Red Cross, especially during the recent Israeli aggression against Lebanon.”
On the other hand, he praised “the in-kind assistance provided by the community to help those affected by the floods that affected some northern Senegalese regions, estimated at about 500 tons of various materials.”
The aid was presented during an official ceremony attended by the Minister of the Interior and senior Senegalese officials.
