Implementation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza begins Sunday

Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani announced that a ceasefire agreement had been reached between Israel and Hamas, noting that “the implementation of the agreement will begin on Sunday, January 19.”

He added: “Hamas will release 33 Israeli hostages in the first phase, and work is continuing with Israel and Hamas on the steps to implement the agreement.”
