Lebanon faces a historic opportunity with Presidents Aoun and Salam
Head of the Food Importers Syndicate, Hani Bohsali, issued a statement today in which he stressed, “Today we are facing a historic opportunity by electing President General Joseph Aoun as President of the Republic and assigning President Nawaf Salam to form the government in order to turn the page on the painful past and move towards a promising future worthy of the Lebanese,” stressing “the necessity of Everyone cooperated to quickly complete the formation of the government and begin work.”
He congratulated Bohsali Salam on his selection as prime minister of the future government, wishing him “good luck and success in forming a reform government that reflects the desire and aspirations of the Lebanese people for a bright tomorrow.”
Pointing out that “there are many accumulated problems in all aspects of the state and aspects of life in Lebanon,” Bohsali affirmed that “the union stands alongside Presidents Aoun and Salam and the government to do everything necessary to reach the desired goals.”
