Oil prices fall amid news of a ceasefire agreement in Gaza
Oil prices fell from a five-month high, after news that Hamas and Israel had temporarily agreed to a ceasefire, calming a rally fueled by concerns over Russian and Iranian supplies.
Brent crude for March delivery fell by 1.3%, settling at $79.92 per barrel, and West Texas Intermediate crude fell by 1.7%, settling at $77.50 per barrel. (Bloomberg)
