Today, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Lebanon, Walid Bukhari, visited the Maronite Archbishopric House in Tripoli, and met with its Archbishop, Bishop Youssef Suef, in the presence of Monsignor Mario Madi and Father Joe Rizkallah.
Bukhari placed the visit within the framework of “congratulations on the holidays, and on the new phase that Lebanon is experiencing, in which we hope that Lebanon will return to its pioneering role that we used to sing about. The unified national will and the maturity that we have witnessed recently have resulted in the launch of a new phase, which we hope will bring with it all the good.” On Lebanon.” He considered, “The Kingdom’s strategic choice is peace, and the Kingdom’s vision in this direction has begun to bear fruit in the region.” Hoping that “communication with the Archbishopric House and the Diocese will continue for the good of the city.” He extended an invitation to Bishop Suef to visit the Saudi Embassy, “your second home.”
For his part, Bishop Suef welcomed “the honored guest to the Maronite Archbishopric House in Tripoli” and said: “Your visit to Tripoli is very dear.” Thanking him for his visit, and for “the Kingdom’s constant interest in Lebanon and its people.”
