A new Ukrainian town falls to Russian forces

A new Ukrainian town in Donetsk Province, within the Donbass region, has fallen into the hands of Russian forces, according to what the Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Monday.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said, on Monday, that “Russian forces liberated the town of Pestchanoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic, and are continuing their progress on the various axes of the special military operation.”

The Ministry also explained that “as a result of the tireless operations carried out by units of the Center Forces Group, the town of Bishannoy, which belongs to the Donetsk People’s Republic, was liberated.”
