The Iranian army receives 1,000 new drones
The agency noted that the new drones were delivered to several locations across Iran, and were said to have a high ability to stealth and penetrate fortifications.
The agency added, “The unique features of drones include a range exceeding 2,000 kilometers, high destructive power, the ability to pass through defensive levels… and autonomous flight.”
The agency continued, “This not only increases reconnaissance and border monitoring capabilities, but also enhances the combat capability of the army’s fleet of drones against distant targets.”
Earlier this month, Iran began two-month military exercises that included war maneuvers during which the Revolutionary Guard defended key nuclear facilities in Natanz from hypothetical attacks with missiles and drones.
It is worth noting that the Iranian army ranks 16th in terms of strength according to the “Global Firepower” classification, after Israel (15th place) and before Spain (17th place). (Sky News)
