That’s why we supported the Army Commander
Representative Hadi Abu Al-Hassan announced today, Thursday, that “the Democratic Meeting supported the nomination of the Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, in order to push forward a breach of national calculations without influence or dictates from any party, and in accordance with our convictions, we will vote for stability and for the Lebanese army.”
Abu Al-Hassan said in an interview with LBCI, “The next step after the election of the president is to begin parliamentary consultations in order to form a government, which in turn will put forth its ministerial statement. In the statement, Taif, stability, 1701, and an economic, social, and reform program that meets the aspirations of the Lebanese and meets the conditions of the international community must be taken into account.”
