High temperatures and the possibility of dust appearing
The Estimates Department at the Meteorological Department in the General Directorate of Civil Aviation expected that the weather tomorrow will be generally clear, with an additional rise in temperatures and a decrease in humidity. Winds will be active in the south of the country, with the possibility of layers of dust appearing in the air.
The bulletin stated the following:
-General condition: An area of high air pressure dominates the eastern basin of the Mediterranean, leading to stable weather with temperatures exceeding their seasonal averages, until Friday afternoon, as the region is affected by an air depression currently centered in southern Italy and heading towards northern Libya and Egypt, approaching. Gradually, it leads to volatile and sometimes rainy weather, with temperatures dropping during the weekend.
Note: Average temperatures for January: between 11 and 19 degrees in Beirut, in Tripoli between 9 and 17 degrees, and in Zahle between 3 and 13 degrees.
A warning about the danger of ice formation at night and in the early morning hours, on internal and mountain roads above 1,600 metres.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy to partly cloudy with high clouds, with temperatures exceeding seasonal levels, and winds are active, especially in the south of the country.
Thursday: Generally clear, with additional rise in temperature and decrease in humidity. Winds will be active in the south of the country, with the possibility of layers of dust appearing in the atmosphere.
Friday: Partly cloudy to partly cloudy with layers of dust appearing in the air and active winds in the south of the country. Temperatures gradually drop as they return to seasonal levels. Humidity also rises and fog forms on the highlands. Clouds thicken during the night and scattered and intermittent rain falls with the possibility of lightning and thunder. As of Saturday morning.
Saturday: Partly cloudy with a further drop in temperatures that become below their seasonal averages, fog forms on the highlands and scattered and intermittent rain falls with some light snow at an altitude of 1800 metres.
The temperature on the coast is from 14 to 21 degrees, above the mountains from 7 to 16 degrees, and inland from 4 to 18 degrees.
Surface winds: easterly to northeasterly, active at times, especially in the south of the country, with speeds between 20 and 45 km/h.

-Relative humidity on the coast: between 40 and 65 percent.
-Sea condition: average wave height, water surface temperature: 20 degrees.
