From Germany to Syrians wishing to return to their homeland… 1,200 euros

Following the fall of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s regime, Germany announced measures for Syrians wishing to return to their country.

A spokesman for the German Interior Ministry said on Friday that Berlin intends to increase a financial program for Syrian citizens wishing to return to their country.

He added: “We want to expand the program in the future for those who wish to leave voluntarily,” and stated that Germany will provide travel expenses worth 200 euros, and the costs of starting a business worth 1,000 euros for every adult who wishes to leave Germany.

He also continued: “I think the situation is still not completely clear regarding the movements to return in large numbers.” (Arabic)
