Is there a new storm in Lebanon? Here’s the weather forecast

The Department of Meteorology forecasts that the weather tomorrow, Thursday, will be generally clear, with no significant change in temperature, and that the risk of ice formation on mountain roads will remain from an altitude of 1,500 meters, during the early hours of the morning and at night.

The bulletin stated the following:

– General situation: Stable weather prevails over Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin, with temperatures gradually rising over the coming days.

Note: Average temperatures for January: between 11 and 19 in Beirut.

Warning: There is a risk of ice forming during the coming days on internal and mountain roads at 1,300 meters or more.

– Expected weather in Lebanon:

Today is Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, with a slight rise in temperature and a drop in humidity, with a warning of ice formation on mountain and internal roads during the early morning and night hours, starting at an altitude of 1,300 metres.

Thursday: Generally clear, with no significant change in temperature, and the risk of ice formation on mountain roads remains, starting from an altitude of 1,500 metres, during the early morning hours and night.

Friday: Clear and beautiful, with a slight rise in temperatures and low humidity, with a warning of the risk of ice formation on mountain roads starting at an altitude of 1,500 metres, during the early hours of the morning and at night.

Saturday: Partly cloudy to cloudy at times with moderate and high clouds, with a noticeable rise in temperatures.

– Expected temperatures: on the coast from 11 to 17 degrees, above the mountains from 5 to 13 degrees, inland from 2 to 12 degrees.

– Surface winds: northerly to northeasterly, speeds between 10 and 25 km/h.

– Clearance: good.

– Relative humidity on the coast: between 40 and 60%.
