Accordingly, the Director General of the Fund issued a new decision on January 15, 2025 bearing the number 17, according to which the hospitals contracting with the Fund were given financial advances at the expense of hospitalization transactions for the required surgical procedures worth 25 billion LBP, for a total of 52 billion LBP. . On this occasion, the Director General calls on hospitals to expedite the submission of their completed transactions so that they can be paid periodically and monthly. He also reiterated that he had assigned both the Medical Monitoring Authority and the Hospitals Administrative Monitoring Authority to prepare detailed reports on the extent of their compliance with the tariffs approved by the Fund’s management, and that the necessary decisions would be taken against them in the event that they received additional sums from the insured or refused to receive them for treatment, up to the point of terminating the contracts. concluded with it, stopping financial advances, and subjecting it to monitoring and inspection to verify whether it declares the real wages of its employees and all employees.
