A sudden absence of a financial application in Lebanon!

Users recently noticed that the “OMT Pay” application was no longer available on the “Play Store” in Lebanon, which raised questions among users about the cessation of this financially necessary service.

In this context, a source at OMT confirmed to Lebanon 24 that the application is still effective for people who downloaded it previously, but it is now not available for those who need to download it again.

The sources explained that the application is currently undergoing technical maintenance by a concerned team and will be launched again soon on the Play Store to be accessible and available to all users.

The sources also indicated that “there are no unusual reasons behind the absence of the application,” especially since there were messages spread through social media claiming that the company operating the “Play Store” had excluded and deleted the “OMT” application from its list.
