Egypt regrets the inability of the Security Council to enable Palestine to become a full member

Egypt expressed its regret at the Security Council’s inability to issue a resolution enabling the Palestinians to obtain full membership in the United Nations.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry stressed that obstructing recognition of the State of Palestine is not consistent with the world’s responsibility to end the occupation.
