Reconstructing Ukraine requires stopping the war

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz revealed that launching the process of rebuilding Ukraine requires stopping combat operations in the country.

Schulz added during a joint press conference with Chilean President Gabriel Buric: “Germany is considered the largest supporter of Ukraine in Europe, and we will continue to provide aid as long as necessary.”

He continued: “Tomorrow we will hold a conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine, in which more than 90 countries will be represented.” But before reconstruction, the war must end.”
