Analysts reveal .. For this reason, Israel depends on the starvation of Gaza

Experts are unanimously agreed that the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip has reached unprecedented levels of risk due to the applicable siege imposed by the Israeli occupation, stressing that Israel is seeking from unprecedented restrictions on the Strip to impose a new political reality.

The UN Commission for Human Rights announced yesterday, Thursday, that more than half of the population of the Gaza Strip lived under Israeli evacuation orders, while international humanitarian relief bodies warned that the population is threatened with sharp hunger in light of the interruption of aid.

In this context, the researcher and activist in the humanitarian work, Dr. Othman Al -Smadi, described the current scene as unprecedented, and he emphasized – during his hosting of the Events Path Program – that the sector is subjected to an applicable siege and deprives its people of all the ingredients His ethnic cleansing and collective annihilation.

The Secretary -General of the Palestinian National Initiative, Dr. Mustafa Al -Barghouthi, agreed with Al -Smadi’s opinion, stressing that Gaza is witnessing an exceptional stage of suffering.

Al -Barghouti added that Gaza is living today the most dangerous situation not only since the beginning of this war, but since the Nakba War in 1948, where we are “witnessing a terrible famine in full view of the world, killing and death without any respect for human life.”

According to Al -Barghouti, the strategic goal behind the current Israeli measures is to force all the residents of the Gaza Strip to displace and go out into detention camps controlled by Israel, then put people in terrible conditions to force them to accept ethnic cleansing.

He warned the intention of the occupation, “assigning an American company to manage everything that enters Gaza under its direct supervision.”

According to al -Smadi, the policy of the frequent displacement pursued by the occupation against the inhabitants of Gaza comes within the framework of a deliberate strategy to double their suffering, “as Israel is not satisfied with famine, killing and thirst, but rather seeks to exhaust the population psychologically and physically through the continuous forced movements, with the aim of ultimately pushing them to submit to its conditions and obeying its plans.”

Humanitarian catastrophe

In turn, the list of the director of the media office of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) in Gaza, Enas Hamdan, shed light on the “enormous” challenges facing relief organizations in Gaza.

She explained that organizations that are supposed to provide food, healthy and shelter support, and are concerned with refugee and displaced affairs, collide with increasing obstacles, starting from the deteriorating security conditions, to targeting their United Nations headquarters and facilities.

Hamdan said that humanitarian organizations are currently working with the minimum capabilities, relying on the remaining food, medical supplies and fuel, seeking to provide the necessary services despite the large needs, as more than two million people lack everything.

Future indicators warn of an imminent catastrophe, according to Hamdan, explaining that 25 bakery belonging to the World Food Program in the sector is on the verge of stopping work due to the extent of the flour stocks and the scarcity of fuel necessary to operate it, which increases the darfing of the future image of the crisis.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Turk, had confirmed yesterday evening that the blockade imposed on Gaza “rises to the level of collective punishment, and can be considered a use of starvation as a war weapon”, pointing out that the World Food Program will distribute its last food parcels available during the next two days.

In turn, Al -Smadi warned against exposure of water, sanitation, and drug sources, and even agriculture that was a lifeline for the population, for escalating damage with the continued military operations, which led people to a stage where the essential elements of life were lacking.

On the other hand, Al -Barghouti criticized the state of international and regional negligence, stressing that the abandonment of Gaza gradually increased by the Arab countries and the international community in general, and asked, denouncing, “How long will the Arab and Islamic countries remain silent about this tragedy? Can 56 Arab and Islamic countries be initiated together to move and announce the breaking of the siege on Gaza?”.
