Al -Hajjar, Awaidat and Jamil swore to the oath in front of President Aoun


Today in the Baabda Palace, the right -wing party was held for three new judges, after their appointment ceremonies were issued. Judges who have been right: Judge Jamal Al -Hajjar as Deputy General to the Court of Cassation and Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Youssef Gemayel as Chairman of the State Shura Council, and Judge Ayman Awaidat as head of the Judicial Inspection Authority.

In the ceremony of the department, which was attended by the Minister of Justice, lawyer Adel Nassar and the head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Suhail Abboud, President Joseph Aoun stressed the importance of the responsibilities that the new judges take in restoring the confidence of the Lebanese in the judiciary, stressing the need to fight corruption and clean the judiciary from any practices that offend its reputation.

President Aoun added that judicial decisions should not be affected by any external pressures, and that the rulings must always be based on law and conscience.

For his part, Lawyer Minister Adel Nassar, in the name of the judges, stressed that they will work to make a change in the judicial performance, with the aim of achieving justice and protecting the rights of litigants.

In another context, the governor of the Bank of Lebanon, Mr. Karim Saeed, was right in front of President Aoun after the issuance of his decree appointed as a six -year ruler of the bank, starting from March 27, 2025. Saeed pledged to perform his duties accurately and sincerity, confirming his respect for the law and honor.
