26%.. Washington imposes customs duties on India

The United States has imposed customs duties of 26 percent on imports from India, in violation of New Delhi’s expectations to obtain an exemption from President Donald Trump’s global policy that has been concerned by global markets for weeks.

The application of basic fees begins with ten percent on Saturday before the remaining percentage comes into effect as of April 9.

Trump at the White House during E. Anti -tariffs said that India imposed on the United States “52 percent customs duties and we have not imposed almost anything for years, years and decades.”

Trump imposed higher customs duties on other countries, including customs duties of 34 percent on China, in addition to 20 percent fees, previously announced and customs duties of 46 percent on Vietnam. (Sky News Arabia)
