This is how the events of Syria affected the Beirut Damascus road

A noticeable decline in flights between Lebanon and Syria was recently recorded, especially during the current months of February and March, due to the recent security events that took place at the border between the two countries on the one hand and in the Syrian interior on the other hand.

It was found that the numbers of Lebanese moved to Syria through the border crossings have declined significantly about hundreds after the border was witnessing thousands of people entering there in one day, specifically during the weekend.

The sources pointed out that security tensions, in addition to other measures that control the entry of the Lebanese into Syria, contributed to reducing the Lebanese rush to go to Syria for fear of kidnapping or shooting on the road between the factory and Damascus, especially during the night periods.
