The security forces shine their qualified martyr, Charbel Aqel

The Internal Security Forces and the Al-Shehah area, at an official and popular funeral, were the qualified martyr Charbel Akl, who was martyred on 3-20-2025 in Ajloun.

The prayer was held for the convenience of himself at 15:00 today, 9/3-2025 in the Church of Mar Maroun-Al-Shehah, and he participated in the funeral and in carrying out the duty of condolences to the family of the martyr, a delegation represented the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces headed by Brigadier Khaled Alwan and a large number of officers and arms comrades, and representatives of the leaders of the military and security services, and the activities of the region.

After that, Brigadier General Alwan refused the martyr, and gave a speech in which he said:

“In the name of the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces (leadership, officers, ranks and individuals) and in the name of the head of the Information Division and in my name in person we move from ourselves from the beginning and from the family of the martyr and from all his relatives and colleagues and the people of his town and from all those present in the highest verses of consolation and sympathy with our dear deceased qualified martyr Charbel Akl from Al-Shiyah on 11-26-1990.

He entered the wire on 01-06-2011, and promoted after the martyrdom to the rank of qualified on 08-03-2025, after he was listed in the face of an armed theft gang in the Ajloun area and was subjected to fire.

After the martyrdom, the Wasting of the Wounded, the internal security medal, the merit medal, the military medal, and the Lebanese Merit of the Fourth Class. He holds a written congratulations issued by the Minister of Interior and Municipalities and many written notifications and financial rewards issued by the Director General of the Internal Security Forces.

He added: “O hero martyr, your family, your comrades, and your lover knew you as an example of the brave and courageous security man, dear soul with the heart of the good with the good advantages and role models between your comrades. Sleeping of the Ain’s decision, for the weapons comrades after you are on the path.

Today we are staring at your pictures and remember your laughter, your words, your steps, and we know that we will not see you anymore, but our consolation is that you did not leave in vain, you did not lose sight of, but rather left as the great people who write their names with their blood and leave to live the others, yes you have done yourself in the way that others enjoy reassurance and peace. I lived in dignity and left with dignity, embodying the highest meanings of sacrifice. We do not cry for you today, but rather we give you hearts full of pride, for you are the hero of his bloodshed with a bright page in our history.

He continued: “We pledge to you and your martyrs comrades to keep your opinion raised and that your department remains a covenant that we do not, lie in peace.
