Rubio goes to Saudi Arabia to hold talks with Ukrainian officials

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced on Sunday that Rubio will go to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia to discuss the possibility of achieving peace with Ukrainian officials, according to “Sky News Arabia”.

The statement stated that Rubio will take this trip, which will continue until Wednesday, to “push President Trump’s goal of ending the war between Russia and Ukraine.”

Rubio is also scheduled to meet Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Jeddah, after which the Foreign Minister will go to Canada to hold a meeting with his counterparts from the other Group of Seven countries.

Rubio’s office was not precisely determined by the officials who will meet them, but Ukrainian President Voludimir Zellinski said that the Ukrainian officials who will meet Rubio are his office manager Andre Yermak, Foreign Minister André Siabia, and Defense Secretary Rustam Omirov.
