To pursue Assad’s remnants, a convoy of security forces heading from Idlib to the coast


The Syrian News Agency (SANA) reported at dawn today, Sunday, the launch of public security forces from Idlib Governorate to the Syrian coast.

“SANA” said in a brief news: “A convoy of the Public Security Forces is launched from Idlib Governorate to the Syrian coast to pursue the remnants of the defunct regime, and to extend security and stability in the region.”


Sources close to the Syrian Public Security Department revealed that the Syrian Ministry of Defense and Public Security forces raised full readiness throughout the Syrian governorates.

The sources said to the German News Agency that “the Syrian army announced the general military mobilization of its forces in several Syrian governorates.”

The sources added: “Cells belonging to the former Syrian regime in the governorates of Damascus, its countryside, Homs, Hama, Deir Al -Zour and the Syrian coast are preparing for sabotage operations in support of the remnants of the regime in the governorates of Tartous and Lattakia.”

In the capital, Damascus, the city is witnessing a major security proliferation. The Public Security Department has placed many barriers at the entrances to the city from the western side, in conjunction with the security spread in the squares, and public security cars roaming the streets.
