Trump plans to visit Saudi Arabia after it agreed to invest a trillion dollars

US President Donald Trump said he was planning to visit Saudi Arabia, pointing to a deal for major investments from the Kingdom in the United States worth trillion dollars.

When Trump was asked whether he would meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Saudi Arabia, he confirmed his intention to visit the Kingdom, noting that commercial motives are the main.

“I am going to Saudi Arabia,” Trump told reporters.

He added, “I said that I would go if I paid a trillion dollars, a trillion dollars to American companies, distributed over a period of four years,” referring to the term of his presidency.

He continued: “They agreed to that, so I will go there.”

Saudi Arabia was the first foreign destination for Trump after assuming his post in 2017, and he has not yet traveled abroad since his return to the White House.
