Pay the productivity allowance for this month and agree to secure it until the end of the school year

The Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Rima Karami, announced in a statement that “the decision was issued by the Council of Ministers to consider the draft budget for the current year 2025 in effect, and therefore it has become possible for the Ministry of Education and Higher Education to use the existing credits to pay the dues to members of the educational body and for all those covered by the productivity allowance for this month.”

She revealed that she had “submitted a draft law on a draft law aimed at securing the necessary credits to secure the productivity allowance until the end of the current academic year,” noting that “the cabinet approved it.”

She pointed out that “the issue of renewing contracts contracts has been included on the agenda of the cabinet session that will be held next Thursday,” stressing its intention to “submit a request to the Council of Ministers to increase the contract hour for the contractors, and that it is currently working to complete the file.”

It also revealed that “the preparation of a request to the Council of Ministers aims to give members of the educational body in the owners two additional salaries similar to the employees in the public sector, and as soon as the necessary files will be completed, it will be submitted to the Council of Ministers to be placed on the agenda.”
