Bayeradarian followed with the delegation of the United Nations Population Fund

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Nora Bayeradarian, received a delegation from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) that included the representative of the Fund in Lebanon, Anandita Philippos, and the Director of Programs in Lebanon, Pamela de Camilo, and Karen Sweden as an association of the Fund’s work in Lebanon.

The meeting dealt with many issues related to youth, including the possibility of organizing joint activities and workshops aimed at making change, empowering young people and involving them in the decision -making process. The ways to implement the youth policy plan have also been discussed.

Biadarian suggested setting an executive mechanism to implement the part related to youth and future generations in the global document “The Pact for the Future” at the local level, which was welcomed and a desire to cooperate from the delegation.

The Minister also received the advisor to the President of the Republic for Protocol Affairs, Michel de Shadarvien.
