Arsenal enters the history of the Champions League

Arsenal did not show any signs of his lack of an explicit striker when he entered the history of the Champions League by destroying his host BS Eindhoven on Tuesday night.

Coach Mikel Artita scored seven goals in the net of their Dutch host in the first leg of the round of 16, which is the victory (7-1) that made the “artillery” the first team to score this number of goals outside its homeland in the history of the Champions League in a match within the knockout stage.

Urian Timber, Ethan Naweri, Michael Mirino, Martin Odegard, Landro Trosard and Ricardo Calviuri scored the first leg goals.

Arsenal also achieved another record on Tuesday night, as Miles Luis Skill made a goal for Ethan Naweri, the first time that English teenagers have gathered in scoring a goal in the Champions League.

The “artillery” will meet Manchester United in the Premier League in their upcoming match, followed by the second leg against Eindhoven on March 12 next.
