The file of the displaced and smuggling in an upcoming meeting between Aoun and Sharia

President Joseph Aoun is preparing on the sidelines of the Cairo Summit today to hold talks with Syrian President Ahmed Al -Shara.
Lebanese government sources told Syria TV that President Aoun was the one who requested an appointment from the Sharia President to discuss “thorny files, most notably the file of the displaced Syrians and the Lebanese -Syrian border file, in addition to the smuggling file through the illegal crossings.”

According to the same sources, the mini meeting “will draw a road map for future talks at a governmental level with regional sponsorship, especially since the file of the Lebanese -Syrian relations has many thorny items, most notably the solution of the so -called Lebanese -Syrian Supreme Council, and the Syrian -Lebanese treaties, and all these files were in the interest of the deposed Syrian regime.”
In a related context, the Syrian government newspaper “Al -Hurriya” reported that the Public Security Department seized a shipment of weapons near the city of Serghaya in the northern countryside of Damascus, at the Syrian -Lebanese border, and arrested the smugglers.
