An attack on worshipers in the Hama countryside, Syria

On Monday, the Syrian Observatory reported the killing and injury of 10 citizens in an attack carried out by unknown gunmen on worshipers in the countryside of Hama Governorate.

The observatory said that an attack on the worshipers after Tarawih prayers in the town of Hayyin in Hama countryside, 4 people were killed and resulted in the injury of 6 people.

The observatory added that unknown gunmen were traveling in a motorcycle, who shot the worshipers.

The observatory indicated that the security forces brought elements and reinforcements to the area that witnessed the accident in order to pursue the attackers.

Local media pages and sites stated that the gunmen opened fire on the worshipers while entering the mosque to perform the Tarawih prayer, on Sunday evening.
