Egypt and Palestine are reviewing the Gaza reconstruction plan before it was presented to the Arab summit



















Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly and his Palestinian counterpart, Mohamed Mustafa, discussed today in Cairo the plan of early recovery and the reconstruction of Gaza, before its presentation at the Arab Summit.
A statement of the Prime Minister in Egypt stated that Madbouly started the meeting with Mustafa, by renewing the confirmation of Egypt’s fixed support for the Palestinian brothers and their legitimate rights, especially the right to self -determination and the independence of the Palestinian state on the lines of June 4, 1967 with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Madbouly pointed out that in implementation of the directives of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, the Egyptian government prepared an integrated plan for early recovery and the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, while maintaining Palestinian citizens in the Strip during the reconstruction process.
The Egyptian Prime Minister stressed that the Egyptian state is making every efforts to support the Palestinian issue and the Palestinian people, whether by continuing efforts to implement the ceasefire agreement in all its stages, or reconstruction in the Gaza Strip.
For his part, the Prime Minister of Palestine expressed his appreciation for the Egyptian efforts to support the Palestinian people, appreciating Sisi’s efforts to support legitimate Palestinian rights, and the efforts of the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, as well as the efforts made by all the institutions of the Egyptian state, according to the statement.
The spokesman for the Egyptian Cabinet Presidency, Counselor Mohamed Al -Homsani, said that the meeting dealt with coordination efforts between the Egyptian and Palestinian sides to follow up the completion of the formulation of the reconstruction plan, in preparation for presentation to the emergency Arab summit scheduled for March 4, in addition to coordination with the international humanitarian institutions to contribute to efforts to early recovery and reconstruction.
