On serious charges .. The arrest of 6 professors at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Damascus

In statements to the “Syria TV” website, Imad Al -Ayoubi explained that the task of the committee in charge of following up the corruption file is limited to receiving complaints and ensuring their credibility and submitting them to the designated committees via a link attached to the documents, where some professors were suggested that the investigation is completed, pointing out that the committee is concerned with following up and controlling corruption cases for students or professors alike.

In his speech, Al -Ayoubi touched on the nature of the cases and violations that reach the committee, indicating that they include bribes or writing reports by professors, students or attacks that may reach the beating, including the “al -Tasbih” practiced by some representatives of the Student Union, which reached “some of them was involved in blood”, he said, and also confirmed the exploitation of some of their positions.

The educational official pointed out that the committee is following its work, and there is no time limit for considering complaints submitted to it, explaining that following up on these violations will contribute positively to strengthening the educational institution that suffered from corruption, like the rest of the institutions.

In another context, Al -Ayoubi said that the results of the statistics that the university city administration started to follow up and limit the violations in it, showed the union’s position on more than two hundred rooms in the city, where he took more than twenty rooms in each housing unit, and gives it to those affiliated with it, including students who are not entitled to housing or employees and others, all of this without right, in addition to violators who are not entitled Housing in it will be taken out of it after the end of the exams.
