She pointed out that “this price was issued based on the calculation approved by the Ministry of Energy since the date of 10/14/2010; In implementation of the Cabinet Resolution No. 2 issued on 12/14/2011 regarding the taking of the necessary measures to control the pricing of private generators, and based on the mechanism of the joint application of ministries (internal energy and economics) announced on 20/12/2011, which threatened the responsibility of the Ministry of Energy and Water in circulating the pricing of private generators based on diesel prices at the end of each month.

She called on “owners of generators to adhere to the decision of the Ministry of Economy and Trade to the obligation to install the meters, and it will conduct a documented study in this regard in the coming period, leading to updating the approved equation in order to suit more and more with the fluctuations of exchange rates and the economic and social situation of citizens, taking into account the requirements of private generators.”

It also announced that it had been sent to the Ministry of Interior and Economics books about the price of February 2025 to do the requirement according to the joint seizure mechanism.

3- Pricing for the consumer in foreign currency.

4- Additional fees for citizens who use solar energy devices along with private generators.

She called on those concerned with the protection of the consumer, especially the Ministry of Economy and Trade, tightening control over the application of the above -guided pricing and taking the maximum measures against violators in keeping with the Ministry of Interior, Municipalities and the competent judiciary. “
