Wide responded to Al -Gemayel’s demand for a reconciliation and openness dialogue

Caroline Akoum wrote in “Al -Sharq Al -Awsat”: The demand of the head of the “Lebanese Phalanges Party”, MP Sami Al -Gemayel, was held to conduct a “frankly and reconciliation” dialogue, a positive political and popular interaction in this transitional phase that Lebanon is going through.

This invitation, which Al -Jumayel launched for the second time in the discussion session of the ministerial statement after he had talked about it in the election session of President Joseph Aoun, throwing the ball into the officials stadium, in which most parties find a good step that can be built on, especially after the completion of the “quorum of constitutional institutions” by forming a government and electing a president for the republic mainly on which the task of any invitation like this. The Presidency of the Republic does not seem far from this requirement, “especially since the division’s speech is based on the importance of national unity and state building, and that everyone is under the roof of the law and the judiciary, discussing the defense strategy, and the state’s monopoly of weapons,” according to what sources close to the presidency.

The sources say to Asharq Al -Awsat that the call for a national dialogue is on the speed, but not soon; The work today is focused on other issues, the most important of which is “ending the Israeli occupation”, knowing that “Hezbollah” has always been linking its weapon to this occupation, although in the recent period began to sever the speeches of its officials witnessing a decline. After Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri was the first applicant for the speakers of the “brigades” in the discussion session of the ministerial statement last Wednesday, and the Vice -President of Parliament Elias Bouasab and a number of deputies also praised him, he renewed parliamentary sources in the “Development and Liberation” bloc headed by Berri, to emphasize “the importance of calm political discourse at this stage, similar to the speech of the president of the (Kataeb) that reflected positive climates in political circles.”

The sources recall that “the Speaker of Parliament was the first to call for a national dialogue before the presidential elections, and he who has always been calling for a convergence of contentious issues to the dialogue,” adding to the “Middle East” that “before that, and specifically in the stage of the presidential vacuum, some believed that such an invitation must come by the President of the Republic, but today with the completion of the institutions of the institutions, the parliament speaker has not and will not reject any national dialogue, especially if it is the goal, especially if it is the goal From it, one of the control and the consolidation of the civil peace and the national unity.

The same positivity is expressed by the “Lebanese Forces” party and most of the Lebanese parties. The “Progressive Socialist” party praised the words of MP Al -Jameel “the emotional and sincere, and his call to fold the page of conflicts and divisions”, in the words of Representative Bilal Abdullah, who supported the call for a reconciliation and openness dialogue. He tells Al -Sharq Al -Awsat: “The invitation is excellent, especially since it was to discuss all matters with an open heart so that there will be no wounds that are not intense, in addition to that it came without giving up the demands that have always been raised, which is the restriction of arms in the hands of the state after he lost his job …”.

While Abdullah believes that the timing of the dialogue remains a detail, it is linked by the sources of the “forces” with the control of the state over its entire lands and restricting weapons in it, reaffirming what Al -Jameel said in terms of that “any reconciliation must be based on a basic issue, which is the equality between the Lebanese.”
