Iraq welcomes the invitation of Ocalan the PKK to lay down arms

In a statement issued by the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Iraq welcomed the call to Abdullah Ocalan to the PKK to throw weapons, considering that “the step is positive and important” to achieve stability in the region.
